The *New Russar+ Lens* is Lomography’s very own reinvention of the legendary Zenit Russar lens from the 1950s. Hence, it has been redeveloped with new features and functionality such as a modified lens tube construction and better distortion control, and has multi-coated glass and a more durable brass construction. Each Russar+ is manufactured by Zenit in Russia and produced through a handmade process to ensure that you’ll get only the best premium wide-angle art lens that you could take sharp and vibrant photos with.
The New Russar+ Lens is compatible mainly with L39 and M mount analogue and digital mirrorless cameras, as well as tons more with the help of adapter mounts which can be bought separately. These include the Sony A7 and A73, micro 4/3, Fujifilm X Mount, Nikon 1 System, Pentax Q mount, Sony α NEX, Samsung NX, and Canon EOS M cameras.
The New Russar+ is a stunning brass-bodied wide-angle lens. It is a pioneering update on the 1958 Russar. Thanks to its modified lens tube construction, the New Russar+ is compatible with L39 and M mount analogue cameras, digital mirrorless cameras and loads of other cameras using adaptor mounts.
