This is a fantastic week for all children books lover out there! This Wednesday, April 2, is the 209th birthday of Danish author and poet, Hans Christian Andersen, which coincides with the International Children’s Book Day celebration.

Andersen is best known for his fairy tales which tells valuable lessons that transcended age and time. His popular works include The Little Mermaid, The Emperor’s New Clothes, The Ugly Duckling, and The Nightingale which have been adapted to numerous plays, animated films, and ballets.

Since 1967, the International Children’s Book Day has been celebrated to inspire everyone to read books and encourage children to love reading.

For this rumble, we want you to show us how much you love your favorite fairy tale by giving us Lomographs inspired by it! Channel your inner princess and prince charming. If that’s not your thing, why don’t you be the witch or the dragon instead? Towering castles, flying carpets, shiny crowns, and magic wands – do let us into your fantasy world!
