Fellow lomographer makes an illustration book about Lomography

2014-03-18 13

How much do you love lomography and film photography? For one of our fellow lomographers, the lomo-love is so great that she thought of making a book out of it as a follow-up for a previous project!

If you remember the beautiful hand-drawn posters made with love by *Irina Shepel*, we’re thrilled to report that she has made a delightful follow-up for the project. Three years after she did the colorful sketches of various film and lomographic cameras for her final school project, Irina — whose LomoHome is ishepel — made a gorgeous illustration book entitled “Lomographer.”

The colorful book showcases Irina’s sketches of cameras, photos of gallery stores and fellow lomographers, and beautiful lettering. She has given us a sneak peek of the wonderful pages over at Behance, but of course, we’d love to get our grabby hands on an actual copy!

So, what do you think of Irina Shepel’s illustration book on Lomography? Leave a comment below and give our fellow lomographer some props on her beautiful work!

Would you rather lose your vision or your hearing? As photographers, we might choose the latter without a second thought, especially while viewing the festival photos that photographer Mart Vares captured with the New Petzval 85 Lens. Still, who doesn’t love the pleasant mechanical shutter sound of an old SLR that makes us commit to analog photography? While following the Nordic delegation at this years Waves Central Europe, we caught up with the Estonian band, Würffel, whose songs leave us feeling equally delighted.
