Fusion of Passions: Work, Play, and Analogue Luvin'

There’s much goodness and happiness when my objects of desire collide. It’s like eating Ben & Jerry’s strawberry cheesecake ice cream on a Sunday afternoon.

I’ve been working as an Occupational Therapist for 4 years now in pediatrics, and it is a privilege to be part of a team that teaches kids with special needs. I really enjoy the time I spend with these kids and whenever I see progress within them. It feels good when their families appreciate the effort that I’ve put into. It may test my patience at times, but it molded me to be a better person. I may teach them life skills and independence, but the truth is that they teach me life literally. I love my job! It’s been a fulfilling journey in my career.

We recently held TEAM Surf for kids. It’s an annual event held in cooperation with the local surfers, volunteers, and support from different organizations.

It’s the 4th time the “T.E.A.M.” did this but this has been special for us since pro surfers Carla Rowland and surfboard shaper Ian Zamora from The Surf Institute all the way in Malibu, California collaborated with the TEAM to give the kids and their loving families an experience worth remembering.
