Inspired by lazara’s blog, here is a selection of selfportraits
Seeing the wonderful blogpost My year 2009 in Self-Portraits by lazara I am inspired to show you some of my selfportraits.
I actually don’t like to be photographed (only when I am in the mood), but take many, many pictures of me in lack of a model.
For the LC-A Race i took quite a lot of selfportraits, as it was one of the tasks to do so: One selfportrait with a local newspaper and one with a mirror.
Here they are:
Another thing is, that I can hardly pass by a mirror without taking a portrait with one of my cameras and me on it…Mirror Selfportraits
A quite regular way of making selfportraits is, to hold the camera in armlength away and shoot. i am doing this technique, too, of coursearmlength Selfportraits
One of my most favourite cameras to make selfportraits it Lubitel. I simply love the cam for shooting portraits.Lubitel-Selfportraits
Although I consider me as lazy, I like to – following the golden rule to take your camera everywhere you go – take pictures in the water (and it does not matter if it is a big pool or my bathtub) or while I am biking or driving my car.Water-Selfportraits Biking-Portraits
Sometimes I really like to dress up in some way and take (funny) selfportraits in strange clothes.dressed up Selfportraits
A good way to make use of the accessories for LCA+ and Diana is to make Splitzer-Selfportraits, to combine your face with other things or to split it and combine it with itself.Splitzer yourself
And of course, one of the most popular techniques in lomography: doubles. I sometimes make instant doubles using the mx-switch on LCA+ or simply exposing twice with medium formated cameras and sometimes I simply end up on a “regular” double or triple…Double-fun
So follow now my call as I followed lazaras:
