Our Photo of the Day is captioned “mein schönes Silvester.” Unless you speak German, you’ll never guess what it means.

Without using an online translator, take a wild guess at what “mein schönes Silvester” means.

The German phrase translates to “my beautiful New Year’s Eve” in English. And what a lovely New Year’s eve it was indeed for *lienchen,* our “ fellow Lomographer from Potsdam, Germany who took this photo.

She used a *Lomo LC-A+ Russia Day* camera loaded with Fuji Superia 400 film to capture this moment. If you want to see more scenic moments from lienchen’s New Year’s eve, hop over to the album Silvester 2013.

Congratulations to lienchen for being today’s Photo of the Day winner.
