My Agfa CT Precisa Experience

The Agfa CT Precisa 100 is a high quality slide film. The colors you get range from blue to purple and a little bit of everything in between. Read on to find out more about this film!

The Agfa CT Precisa 100 is characterized by a very fine-grain due to its high sharpness and ISO 100 . Thanks to new technologies (Super – order Sigma -crystal Technology and Micro -grain Solubility Control Technology,) the Precisa reaches a value of RMS granularity of level 8 which is similar to the characteristics of a ISO 50 or even ISO 25 film.

The CT Precisa offers a wide range of colors and the color reproduction is vivid and balanced, making it suitable for many uses. You can develop it in E-6 or do Cross Processing in C-41 to obtain pictures with bluer tones. The Agfa CT Precisa offers excellent results even if overexposed or underexposed between ISO 70 and 400 .

The first time I tried the Agfa CT Precisa, I had it developed at the Pentax MX Lab but sadly the developing was no good. They accidentally burned the whole roll.

Still decided to try this film, I tried it again using my Lomography Horizon Perfekt.

I got the entire roll, shot it and decided to have it developed in C-41.

The pictures change color from different shades of blue until you reach the bright violet territory.

I really like how it behaves with the Horizon. In fact I tried another roll on the Horizon again but this time I had it developed in E-6

The colors are very vivid and have good contrast although I did notice a slight blue cast that I didn’t expect from the film. Indeed, this film can flatter any subject with its color shift, contrast and effects.

The AgfaPhoto CT Precisa captures your memories with exceptional colour rendition and is ideal for sunny outdoor adventures. When cross-processed, you will see an overall colour-shift as cool blue tones envelop your images. See the whole range of colour slides in our Shop.

CT Precisa gives purple tone? That's unique. From what i know current batch of Agfa CT Precisa gives green tone.

@niko_fuzzy I also knew of green tones, but in my case it came out purple. I do not know if they are due to the development

i guess it's depends of the batches. What i have for my Agfa CT Precisa is the box picture of houses instead of boat or others. I knew mine is green tones. Maybe the box picture of box like this review gives purple. For blue tone what i know is, the canister and the box have a small diamond logo. That's gives blue, the 1st batches of Agfa CT Precisa
