Photo of the day by penumbras

Panoramic shots work best when there’s a lot to cover, and what better way to cover a lot of distance while taking in the outside view than by riding a train?

Not your usual landscape photo, the image covers a lot of tracks—-railroad tracks, specifically. And what are those small lights floating about? I can’t quite decide if it’s a double exposure or a bunch of fairies huddled in conversation.

Our Photo of the Day was taken by *penumbras* using a *Lomography Sprocket Rocket* loaded with Fuji Velvia 100 film. It is part of the album Hungarian Summer and quite obviously was taken in Hungary during the warmer months.

Congratulations, *penumbras.* Your shot made it as the Photo of the Day!
