Do you want to escape the cold? Want to go somewhere fun like a theme park but can’t be bothered by the long lines on those rides? Do you want to take lots of photos, too? Then, come to Legoland Malaysia!
Legoland is Malaysia’s first international theme park which opened in 2012, and is located in Nusajaya, Johor Bahru. It’s a fun and cheap destination, especially if you are planning a quick getaway with the family. This place is perfect for kids (with all that kiddy rides) or the kid in you (with all the Legos you can buy).
But if you want none of that, there is still one awesome reason to visit this Legoland: the Miniland attraction! Using presumably millions of Lego pieces, this park is filled with scale models of Asia’s best known landmarks, like The Petronas Twin Towers, Angkor Wat, The Forbidden City, and The Taj Mahal — all in glorious, colorful detail!
Don’t take my word for it. I’ll let the pictures do the talking now:
Whether for portrait or landscape, the park is filled with many photo opportunities. Take out your best camera and lens combo, load up a color or slide film and have a great time! Just be careful not to step on a Lego on your way in.
