My Lomo story begins in Seattle and may never end! It all started with the curious, multi-lensed, plastic camera, the Supersampler …
My introduction to Lomo was through a curious camera called the Supersampler. My friend had one and showed it to me by clicking the shutter button and shoving it into my face. Obviously I ducked, not knowing what he was doing. He explained that this camera was taking 4 consecutive shots of me and I only fully understood what he was talking about when he got the photos develop. I was amazed and knew that I wanted one, but had no idea where to look. 6 months later as I was surfing the web I found this camera and one of my favorite sites to this day – lomography.com.
The shots I have added to this post are some of my first ever Lomographs, I like to think that over time I have gotten much better at taking pictures. Since, buying my first Lomo camera I have expanded my collection greatly, and if you visit my lomohome you can easily see evidence of that.
I thank my friend (Chris) for introducing me to that curious camera that opened my mind to a whole new way of taking pictures.
