Which one is your favorite Lomography camera and why?
It’s a bit hard to say because I have few favorite cameras and extensions. But I think that the Spinner 360 is crazy! In the way it looks and also in the way it shoots, it is super unique and I never saw something like this before.
The second one is the Lomokino which is totally different from what I know in the photography world. Video in stills!
One more is the Konstruktor because there is nothing more exciting than building your own camera! It’s a brilliant idea!
What’s the weirdest Lomographic moment you’ve ever had?
It was some really rainy evening with no people at all and suddenly one lady came into the shop with a lot of stress and noise and she needed to find a birthday gift for her father immediately! After 7 or 8 minutes she walked outside of the shop with a Deluxe Kit and Intstax mini and 4 packs of different films. It was nice…
One more nice story is about a break-dancer that made a show at the middle of the shop because he wanted to see how the Instax works while he danced.
What is the nerdiest question you’ve ever been asked in your shop?
For sure it’s- why should I buy it if I can do it in my iPhone free?
From this point sometimes it’s hard to develop.
Where is the best place to shoot some Lomographic masterpieces in your city?
Basically i think all Tel- Aviv is great for Lomographic masterpieces. There are so many street-art works, so many kinds of people, different kinds of clothes, maybe you should go to some nice and colorful indoor parties at the pasaz, and the michatroniks… Also nice exhibitions that you can find all the time here is a good idea. The Pishpeshim Market will be interesting as well. Or maybe you should just ask me when you are coming – it changes every moment..
