The Lomography Experimental Lens Kit’s in-lens shutter system allows you to shoot photos in a totally different way than it it was ever possible with your Micro 4/3 camera. Finally ,you will be able to shoot real multiple exposures and sequenced shots so easily. Let us show you how after the jump!
Press the T-shutter lever down on your lens to the open position until it’s locked in
Set your Micro 4/3 camera to ‘Bulb’ (B shutter) mode. If there is no Bulb mode on your camera, you can instead select a long exposure speed manually (for example 2 or 3 seconds).
Set your lens shutter to either N or B depending on your shooting conditions.
Focus and compose your photo using the focusing ring on your lens. The magnifying function on your Micro 4/3 camera may help for precise focusing.
Once your finished focusing close the lens shutter by switching the T-shutter lever. Now you won’t be able to see anything on your LCD display or electronic viewfinder
Fire the camera shutter in B mode and hold it open so your camera is ready to capture your photo. If you don’t have B mode but have a certain exposure time set, this will be your time window to use the lens shutter and take pictures.
Fire the lens shutter with your other hand to take the picture as many times as you want. When you are finished end the blub mode or wait for the set exposure time to end.
Enjoy your mutilple exposure shot!
