We had over double the amount of entries to Stage 2 of the Colors’ Beats of Vietnam LomoWall Exhibition competition which asked participants to share photos of the Landscape of Vietnam! We were enthralled by the beautiful panoramic shots of the serene nature of Vietnam’s as well as mesmerized by the hustle and bustle of the city conveyed through multiple exposures. Congratulations to flowelttil
This analogue shot reminds me of one of those illustrated pyramid diagrams to depict some sort of hierarchal structure. With everyone jam packed on their motorbikes, it sure looks like Vietnam. However, riding straight through buildings is something you would probably never encounter a famously patient Vietnamese driver doing! The scene depicted by virtue of the multiple exposure technique gives a surreal feeling that seems to highlight how people commute day-in-day-out (both literally and figuratively) and sometimes travel up-or-down but mostly continue their horizontal lives.
