What happens when you take a gorgeous couple who are perfect for each other and both love vintage style, with a lovely summers day at Peggy’s Cove in Nova Scotia and analogue cameras? Find out after the jump!
Topher and Rae are an inspiring couple, from different places and brought together in Halifax. They met and married within a year and I am so happy to have been asked to photograph their very special day with their intimate ceremony with only 12 guests! These two were just meant to be together, everything from Topher’s guitar playing matching to Rae’s beautiful voice and their awesome sense of style. They pulled everything together from etsy, thrift stores, and from local artists!
I wont talk too much about the picturesque location of Peggy’s Cove, as I have already done so here but to date, this has still been my absolute favorite location for shooting a wedding!
Knowing their love of vintage I knew I just had to take along a couple of analogue cameras, I took my Polaroid and my Yashica loaded with some Lomography 35mm Redscale Film. I really wish I had shot more with film now! I really hope to one day be hired solely as a creative film shooter for a wedding!
