Around four years ago, we had The Great LC-A Race, a worldwide analogue race between 10 teams of 10 Lomographers. The idea sounded like a riot knowing how many Lomographers have to pass that classic analogue camera around the world. But hey, it was a fun and glorious one!
And really, who’s the mind behind this idea? Well ladies and gentlemen, we have got to give credit to LomoHome mattcharnock for pitching in this project which the Lomography Staff liked and made come true!
“A race that involves writing, shipping, and of course a series of Lomography quizzes and pictorials done throughout a period of time” was the gist of the LC-A Race. And with the help and support of this Community, it was a great success!

I have always loved the idea of seeing my photos on stone and other natural materials. So, a few months ago, I began googling how it could be done. This is how I discovered (and fell in love with) liquid emulsion. Liquid emulsion is photographic emulsion which you can melt down and paint on any surface. You can then expose an image and develop it using traditional darkroom chemicals.
