No Hesitations with LomoKino LomoAmigo Franzczech

He can be spontaneous but he can be very written, too. It’s a mix and match but still with no hesitations!

He admires the LomoKino very much and would like to shoot several personal projects with it. He’s got heart and he sure has got film! Very interesting, indeed. Coming from Argentina, we meet this week’s LomoKino LomoAmigo, franzczech!

Tell us about yourself. What do you do for a living? What are your interests?

I am a software analyst and developer. These jobs allow me to survive. I also play music and is part of a rock band called “Otroplaneta” which means “another planet.”

I am currently working with a couple of Lomographers in "Compañía Lomográfica Córdoba” or “Cordoba Lomographic Company.” It is a group which conducts various activities related Lomography in our city such as LomoMatrix, Lomo Safari, photo exhibitions, analogue photography workshops, etc. I invite you to view our activities here.

Describe the LomoKino in five words.

The best dream come true.

How did you like shooting with the LomoKino?

I’m always like a kid with a new toy. I sometimes carry my LomoKino and my films are a balance of spontaneous and planned. And I always have so much fun with it!

What or who has inspired you to purchase and use the LomoKino?

When I learned about the camera, I instantly said “I want it!” So I went to a store but was still kinda hesitant until my girlfriend told me to get it!

Any funny or strange encounters you’ve had with it?

Funny is all of the time with her! While lying on the floor, on top of a bridge, while riding a motorcycle, in the middle of the street, etc.

If you could shoot any person alive or dead (or imaginary) with your LomoKino, who would it be and why?

My girlfriend at the altar, during our wedding. <3

Any future plans with your LomoKino? More shoots or a full-length film perhaps?

My next project is to film an invitation for my wedding, as a “save the date” kind of thing. I will also film invitations to future concerts of my band.
