The final chapter of my Chernobyl adventure takes us to Duga III. A super secret Rocket defense system of the CCCP, which was even unknown to most Soviet citizens. But hobby radio enthusiasts all over Europe could hear a strange repetitive knocking sound which originated from Duga III, which was dubbed Woodpecker.
