“Total Request Live” was MTV’s iconic variety show which featured the 10 most popular music videos of the day as well as a bunch of musical and celebrity guest appearances. I still remember Carson Daly’s hosting antics circa 1998 and the screaming fans waiting to catch a glimpse of their favourite celebrities at the MTV Studios in Times Square, New York. Thankfully, you don’t have to stay out in the cold to do that, thanks to these TRL Photobooth snaps!

Thought MTV was just for music? Think again! TRL also featured TV and movie stars like Robin Williams, Tara Reid, Rosario Dawson, Rachael Leigh Cook, Christ Tucker and Jackie Chan!
TRL went off air in 2008 but pictures of guests who have walked through the studio doors have been published in a book curtly entitled MTV Photobooth. And here’s the actual photobooth at the MTV Studios before they tore it down. See all 517 of these celebrity snaps on MTV.com.
