Creating a DIY Slide-Shade!

If you’ve got hundreds of old slides just chilling in your attic, here’s a nice project you can do.

Materials:

• Lamp Base
• Lamp Shade
• 35mm photo slides
• Jump rings
• Pliers
• Puncher
• Scissors

Instructions:

1. Remove the lampshade and cut everything out, retaining just the wire frame

2. Layout the slides that you’ll be using. Count them and make sure you’ve got enough!

3. Punch little holes in all 4 corners of the slides and with the help of the pliers, link them using the jump rings

4. Once you’ve got your desired length, attach the slides to the wire frame. Rinse and repeat until you’ve covered the whole frame!
