I’m feeling kind of blue, but I’m not feeling kind of sad — in fact, I’m feeling kind of inspired and dare I say, FANTASTIC. Here’s a peek on what’s fueling my creativity this week on my first installment of Monday Moodboard. Hope it helps!
Inspiration comes in many forms. But then again, you could say that sometimes, it does not come at all. You have to go out and look for it.
This past weekend, I’ve finally found a copy of Neil Gaiman's latest book, The Ocean at the End of the Lane, two weeks after its release. Usually, I’m not the type of person who purchases a book immediately after it was launched (with the exception of Harry Potter) but there was something about this book that drew me in. I’ve been experiencing what I would call a creative flunk these past months, and Ocean was just the thing that I needed. Fantastic. Brilliant.
Speaking of fantasy, I started watching Doctor Who a while back and just like millions of other people, I found it highly entertaining. Its universe is so diverse and multifaceted, with all its wibbly wobbly timey wimey stuff, that even the most casual Whovian would have a field day.
Without a doubt, the most recognizable element in this TV series is the TARDIS (aka THE blue police box). It’s dressed in such a brilliant shade of blue that I’m pretty sure that people who’ve watched this show would easily associate this color to great adventures — I know I do!
But whether the official shade or not, its pretty safe to say that this is the kind of blue that won’t make me feel sad anytime soon!
