The fun with film doesn’t stop once you’re back in the city from your relaxing summer beach time with the Lomo LC-Wide. Remember, you can always go clicking away at the glittering scenery of your city at night, like what our fellow lomographers did with their wide-eyed analogue companion!
If you’ve gotten your fill of bright and summery Lomo LC-Wide snaps by the beach or elsewhere, it’s time to go on the prowl with your wide-eyed analogue companion in your city at night, to capture scenes and sceneries that only unfold after dark.
Because you should only focus on the balance of light and shadows at night, you can save those slide films and redscales for brighter days, and instead make use of high ISO color negative films. You may even opt for black and white films to obtain noir-looking photos. With the LC-Wide, you can shoot with up to ISO 1600 and also do the LC-A+ bulb mode trick. If you could work with a tripod and/or cable release, the better!
Now, to provide you with impressive examples of what you can achieve when you take on the Lomo LC-Wide night photography challenge, we bring you some cityscapes at night taken by our fellow lomographers using their wide-eyed analogue companion:
