On May 31st, 2013, we unveiled the final structure of the Living LomoWall created for the 2013 CONTACT Photography Festival, and had a huge party to celebrate – Check it out!
WE DID IT! Part exhibition, part experience, the Living Lomowall was built in Toronto, Canada with local, national, and international participation! Throughout the month of May, during the CONTACT Photography Festival, the LGS Toronto accumulated hundreds of authentic, colourful and awe-inspiring photographs to create this very organic installation!
The Living LomoWall can be viewed in two ways. From far away, it appears as an immense mosaic structure – a flood of colours, gradients, vignettes and shapes. But take a closer look and you’ll see individual photographs, telling hundreds of different stories. To celebrate the hard work and the amazing participation that created this installation, we held an exhibition reception and partied the Lomography way – with balloons, great food, drink and music!!
DJ Max held it down for us during the party spinning amazing music for all our guests!
Brittany was there for all our photobooth needs and silliness.
Check out all the images from the party below, we would like to thank everyone who came out and supported us with this project! Until the next one!
