lomolocation! On Carnival’s eve take the highway A3 from Porto and exit at Famalicão, a town about 25 km away.

You then follow the directions to the centre. It’s very easy. The best way to enjoy this town party is to, first, have a group dinner, with live music in one of the town’s restaurants. After a nice meal with cows, cowboys, strawberries, M&M’s, porckopines, polar bears and many other creatures from the zoo you hit the main street for some crazy photos and lots of fun! Just go on dancing with your friends, losing parts of your costume and then try to trade yours with someone else’s. This party only ends in the morning, so you can easily find an open bakery to enjoy some fresh butter bread! The rules of the party state you must be in costume and you must enjoy yourself. So enjoy! The town organizes other activities some days before and the day after, all related to the festivities.
