Centrally located opposite the historic Friedrichspalast, the Lomography Gallery Store Berlin has its finger right on the pulse of the city. Check out the rundown on the opening of our biggest Gallery Store yet!

The Largest Lomography Gallery Store

Following in the footsteps of Tokyo, Guangzhou, Beijing, Hong Kong, Paris, Shanghai, Seoul, London, New York and Rio de Janeiro – Berlin is the next big city in the ever-growing squad of Lomography Gallery Stores and the home of the largest so far! Measuring in at 200 square metres, this Gallery Store provides enough space to let all your Lomographic excitement run wild. Centrally located opposite the historic Friedrichspalast, the Lomography Gallery Store Berlin has its finger right on the pulse of the city. Not only does it house all varieties of Lomography products but it also acts as a platform for creative analogue photography as it is an Embassy location as well.

This is Germany’s new meeting point for Lomographers to take part in workshops, parties, music, exhibitions and just generally hang out. And did we mention that the store features the biggest LomoWall in Germany?

The Great LomoWall of Berlin

That’s right, it is the largest permanent LomoWall in Germany! Composed of no less than 12,000 Lomographs for all to behold. Numerous Lomographers from all over the world have documented their personal views of Berlin with Lomographic cameras and rediscovered the city. These photos were then put together by hand on the biggest LomoWall in the whole country. With a huge range of colours, Berlin is depicted from a whole new perspective, giving viewers inspiration to go out and explore the capital with an analogue camera in hand.

Grand Opening Party

It was just a month ago that the Lomographic Society International opened with a grand celebration carried out in true Berlin style. Amongst a crowd of more than 200 Lomographers you could find people enjoying some fine “currywurst” sausages, sipping on cold German beer (to chase the Russian Vodka) while listening to the musical talent and one man show, “Der Automat”. All the while the analogue lovers eyed up the biggest LomoWall in Germany and all the Lomographic products imaginable. It was a great night and if you missed it – don’t worry! There were plenty of cameras at the ready to document every moment.
