Rediscovering La Sardina, The Perfect Night Companion!

2013-06-04 2

From a forgotten old thing in the bottom closet, to star of the night. Here is the story of how La Sardina swam from the depths, and became queen of the seas.

My first La Sardina was the beautiful red style El Capitan, and came to me thanks to a funny disguise the same day of its launch.

I took many funny amusing pictures during Miss cc-in-paris' visit to Madrid and a few on a quiet summer day.

The truth is that although I liked the outcome of the wide-angle lenses of this sardine can, it was forgotten and I gave better use to its wonderful Fritz the Blitz Flash with other cameras like the Lomokino or the Olympus Pen.

A few months later, I believe it was Christmas in 2011, I got the beautiful La Sardina & Flash Czar as a gift. I love the design of this heavy camera, and I was delighted to add this metallic gem to my collection.

I opened it, I studied it, and enjoyed every single detail (including its box which became my bread bin), but I never shot my Czar, which was kept in store as another collection decorative object more than a camera I used.

But it came the day I rediscovered La Sardina!

carmengraphy invited me to a very special party where attire was very important (you know already how much I enjoy outfits / costumes). It was the presentation in Madrid of MINI Paceman, un evento para gentlemen, and it was an event where bow-ties, suspenders, mustaches and other men’s accessories were the general trend of that night.

Without a doubt, La Sardina & Flash Czar was the best item of my look. While I carried it, there was no mustache, hat, or suspenders that could compete with my shiny camera. It captured everybody’s attention and they all smiled at its wide lens and were dazzled by its wonderful Fritz the Blitz Flash.

Even Bimba Bosé! That livened up the evening behind the decks.
