Stop Motion Sunday: Ghost on the Beach

2013-05-26 1

Summer is almost upon the northern hemisphere, so it’s the perfect time for us to take a look back at one of the earliest and most popular LomoKino videos from the community in this installment of Stop Motion Sunday!

We’re a few days shy from June, which means Summer is almost here — at least for the lucky ones from the northern part of the world! Nothing screams “summer” better than the beach, so for today’s featured stop motion animation, may we present to you again the wonderful work of lomographer extraordinaire satomi.

Entitled “Ghost on the Beach,” her LomoKino movie is set in — you guessed it — an enticing beach with turquoise skies and crystalline waters. While out and abut chilling by the beach, the star of her film was surprised by an unseen entity guiding him somewhere along the coastline. We’d rather let you find out how this seemingly unusual beach story ends, so without further ado, watch the film below:

Enter a new analogue dimension with the LomoKino. Lomography’s own 35mm analogue movie camera allows you to capture action and immortalize your story on film! Shoot 144 frames on any 35mm film and create your own cinematic masterpieces. Want to watch your movie the old-school way? We also offer the LomoKino and LomoKinoscope package!
