Do you feel like taking a long walk and feed some ducks? Oporto`s “Parque da cidade” is just the place!
It`s a great place to take a walk, jog or ride a bicycle. It`s even perfect for picnics or to play soccer with your friends or loved ones (you might want to play other games with your loved ones, but you will have to find a secluded spot for that… don`t worry, you’ll find plenty)! This small (small by New York`s Central Park standard) park has lots of well tended grass fields and some trees that give you that so much desired shade in hot summer days. It also has a few well tended and clean lakes, where you can watch the swans lazily swimming while the hours stroll by.
It is located on the center of Oporto, starting in the middle of Av. da Boavista and spreading till the beach in the “Foz” area. It`s the perfect place for nature photos or just for the shoot from the hip (you never know when that goose is gonna bite the hand thats feeding him).
Escape the bustling city for a while and take refuge in the relaxing ambiance of lush forests and flower-filled parks. Don't forget to take the Lomo'Instant Automat with you for some unique photographs to keep your short yet refreshing trip by!
