Lomography X Coachella Introduce the Newest La Sardina!

2013-04-09 6

In our mission to spread the joys of film photography, we partnered with the hottest (perhaps literally!) music and arts festival in the U.S.—Coachella! We’re proud to present the La Sardina Coachella, a beautiful 35mm metal camera with beautiful engravings of Indio’s desert scene.

Designed by the folks at Coachella , this La Sardina is made of oxidized bronze with intricate etchings of everything you love about the festival: from palm trees, amp cords, guitar necks and more! This beauty is sure to be a keepsake during you post-Coachella life as well. It’s the perfect camera for shooting under the hot California sun. Or, turn that flash on for epic nighttime shots! Only a limited number were made, so hurry onward to the Coachella Boutique!

You definitely won’t miss a thing with its 88 degree angle of view and 22mm lens! Get up close to the stage and photograph all your favorite bands. The focus can go from 0.6 meters up to infinity, so even if you’re stuck in in the back, you’ll still have a sharp image to show all your friends.

Some of the images on the camera’s packaging were taking by Lomography community members. Thanks to saralaser and elydevv for letting us show off some of their awesome images from California.

Dammit. Now I need to find someone going to Coachella and have them pick one of these up for me.

@deepfried_goodness I was thinking the same exact thing. -_- Upside is my younger sister IS going to Coachella. The downside is I'm not sure I will have enough cash to hand to her before she goes. @_@ Do you think it will be the same retail price as the usual metal La Sardinas,or should I try to cover myself by adding on another $50?

@diomaxwelle I'd err on the side of caution and give her a bit extra. I'd expect an extra $50 to be more than enough.
