Stelmuze oak (Lithuanian: Stelmužės ąžuolas) is one the oldest oaks in Europe and the oldest oak in the Baltic states. This oak grows in the Stelmuze village which is located in the east Lithuania near the Latvian border.

Why this oak is so interesting? Can you imagine that this oak is almost 2000 years old! It looks very massive! And the fact that this oak is still alive. Also, you can see beautiful old wooden church close to this oak.

It is worth to come and see this oak because on the way there you can see a good view of Lithuania. Every five minutes you can see a lake in the both sides of road. A lot of small villages boast old and beautiful churches. Also, the road to this oak is so fantastic, in my mind someone should tell about this road to the organizations of world rally championship!
