Legoland Malaysia is a newly-opened theme park in Nusajaya, Johor, Malaysia with interactive rides, shows and attractions — perfect for that spring break getaway with your friends and loved ones!
Legoland Malaysia was officially declared open by Sultan Ibrahim Ismail, Sultan of Johor in September 2012. It lies within an integrated complex in the Nusa Cemerlang industrial park.
Legoland consists of many attractions such as interactive rides that include a robotics workshop centre, amusement rides, even a mini driving school! There is also a mini-land, which consists of miniature lego landmarks such as the Petronas Towers from Kuala Lumpur or the Singapore flyer! It’s no surprise this is a favourite amongst the children.
Besides these attractions, other Lego-themed attractions are due to open by 2014. The first one will be a Lego-themed water park scheduled to open in 2013, and the Legoland Hotel, a Lego-themed hotel due to open in the first half of 2014. With all these exciting attractions lined up, this makes the perfect spring break getaway for any family or couples.
Over a spring weekend I made a trip with my boyfriend to Legoland and we had a great time!
Be sure to equip yourself with sun protection because it’s hot, hot, hot! Legoland is very wide and has fairly sparse cover from the sun. Things such as silly hats (we used hatsIi bought from Vietnam) or sunblock are really useful!
We had a great time there because the range of activities from robotics workshops for children, to feel-good family amusement games (putting out the fire), and exciting rides (rollercoaster dragon) kept us happy and occupied for the entire day.
The attractions are also nicely spaced out so you get a bit of walk in between the rides, and you get to look around the whole park. A spring weekend is perfect to cover all the attractions, so if you haven’t been yet, make your way to Legoland this spring break!
