Something odd is going on with my LC-A+ RL. In the short time I have been using it, it has proven to possess a very unique signature. Do you want to know what it is? Read on!
My Lomo LC-A+ RL truly is one of a kind! It has a very unique quality the likes of which I have never seen before. Some may call it a character flaw, but I think of it as a blessing!
From the very beginning I noticed that taking pictures with my LC-A in very sunny conditions would result in light leaks. The curious thing is that the regular and recurring shape of this leak: it always appears in the same spot and looks like a beautiful sun on my film! I have never seen something similar before, but I think it is genius and I love it!
The odd thing is this light leak starts of very strong and seems to weaken in subsequent frames, which makes me think it isn’t an ordinary light leak. I honestly have no idea what may be causing this, but it does make for a very unique LC-A+!
Even when using redscale film, the sun comes out!
If you have any idea to what might be causing this, or if you seen something similar in another LC-A, please don’t hesitate to leave a comment!
The Lomo LC-A+ RL has all the features we know and love, authentic Russian lens, and a back that’s now interchangeable with the Instant Back+. Explore analogue possibilities with the LC-A+ RL!

I have always loved the idea of seeing my photos on stone and other natural materials. So, a few months ago, I began googling how it could be done. This is how I discovered (and fell in love with) liquid emulsion. Liquid emulsion is photographic emulsion which you can melt down and paint on any surface. You can then expose an image and develop it using traditional darkroom chemicals. In this article, I would like to explain the process a little, so that if you are also interested in giving this fun process a go, you can!

But it is his ice skating pictures that I am most fascinated with. Using my own lens, I give him a modern tribute.
