Shopping can be done at one of the country’s megamalls, Stonebriar, and both the Frisco Roughriders Baseball team and MLS’s FC Dallas call Frisco home.
Frisco is rated as one of the United States’ fastest growing cities. The whole of the town used to be just a simple little country Main Street with a few shops, surrounded by ranches and countryside. Within 15 years, it has flourished into a major city, but still keeps its ‘little town’ charm. Upscale hotels back up to farmland, urban-style lofts share space with the Main Street Square, and people still do business in the little shops despite having access to the gigantic Stonebriar Mall.
I shot areas from Hwy 121 north to Main Street on Preston Road (an original cattle drive trail in Texas) as this is where the major growth of the city has occurred over time. Some shots are inside Aloft Hotel since there were people in the lobby at 2 in the morning, and the place was lit up like a nightclub. The Holy Grail Pub is brand new, and representative of some of the fun one can have.
As soon as the sun goes down and soft, ethereal moonlight descends over the crowded cityscape, workers call it a day and shuffle back to their apartment blocks. While the rest of the city settles down to sleep, a myriad of multi-colored-neon lights, flickering shop signs and glaring car headlights illuminate the night.

Even today, the West is still hung up and mystified with Russia's Soviet past. The Eurasian country is also one of the most talked about in terms of international politics, and more often than not being misrepresented by Western media. This was Russian daily life.

First of all, I really appreciate being able to join the TEN AND ONE Residency Week in Vienna along with super cool Lomographers! We could never have any forgettable memories. The members are 11 people from 10 countries. I thought it'd be difficult to communicate with each other because of our different cultures, languages, personalities, etc. But we didn't have any worries. We respected each other, above all we are Lomographers!
While we love the singular works of renowned New York photographers such as Vivian Maier and Berenice Abbott, the most compelling ones can be found in the vernacular. The untrained eyes are the most raw.
One advantage of cinema is that it moves, hears, and listens easily. However, photography can be just as poetic. The Sprocket Rocket camera instantly adds the cinematic flavor that goes amiss among regular cameras.
