On my last trip to Columbia, I visited the colorful village Guatapé. This beautiful and amazing place, close to Medellin, is more than worth a visit!
This little gem is located about an hour and a half out of Medellin. It is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a day of peace and quiet.
Guatapé has lots to offer, some sights even more spectacular than others. As soon as you enter the town, you can’t help but be overwhelmed by the brightly colored houses.
A short ride in a cheerful taxi will take you to La Piedra Del Peñol, or more commonly known as “The Rock”, a 220m high monolith. The view from the top is incredible! The daring and adventurous can choose between climbing the rock or rappelling down.
Even transportation is beautifully decorated.
Located next to the village is the reservoir, where you can enjoy a boat ride.

A glimps of the monolith from the reservoir.
Guatapé can be reached from Medellin by bus, though renting a car may be more comfortable. Take your time to visit this fantastic place, there’s lots to be seen and done!
Last year, my wife and I visited the Parque Natural de Sintra-Cascais close to Lisbon. It was a gorgeous hike from some beautiful ruins to the most western point of the European mainland, Cabo da Roca.
One of the things I like the most about the Minitar-1 Art lens is how sharp the focus can be when you shoot with a small aperture. So if you are one of those that like to shoot at night, get a tripod, add this to a late dark winter afternoon, and you will end up with a bunch of beautiful long exposures. This is what I did on my last trip to Europe.
I have been constantly returning to the Sahara, and my last visit was the fifth in a row. Every visit was full of excitement and surprises. I feel like this place has become my second home. This year, I decided to travel there for a fortnight.
It had been five years since my last visit to the Côte d'Azur in France. During this period, I took to film photography again. And so for my return, I was looking forward to capturing, with my handy film cameras, some of that special light and blue sea that had drawn so many artists to the Riviera.
Brazil is an awesome country for traveling. There's so much to explore, each place very different from one another. It will definitely take a stretch of trips just to get to know this this South American pearl. I finished my copa tour last year in Marajó, the island of bulls—it just might be an eternal highlight for me.
Speak of South Korea and, chances are, the bustling capital city Seoul and the charming island of Jeju would be the first destinations to come to mind—and for very good reasons. But while these top tourist draws are definitely worth the visit, the rest of the country is dotted with many more gems often unheard of to outsiders. Here are a few of them.

I visited Tibet in early June 2009. It was a group trip with three other friends including fellow lomographer, @venusattack. Tibet to me is a mysterious and untainted place. We wanted to go on a trip there because of its breathtaking mountainous scenery and monasteries.
It can be said that photography is more than just a click on the camera, it makes the moments, people and emotions live forever. This was confirmed to us by an exceptional Dutch photographer Ferry Verheij, whose photographs represent stories of all those people and places he had a chance to know.
Last summer we were lucky to visit 4 cities in 3 different countries, just within a few days. This was reason enough to give my very first LomoChrome Turquoise a try. Afterwards I was astonished by the absolutely unexpected colors of the shots.
