Located at the edge of Vienna, this wicked and beautiful meadow is worth visiting!
This beautiful meadow is situated on the edge of Vienna in the 13th district. Although it’s a bit wicked to find, it’s definitely worth the journey. It’d be good to have a map with you. Take the Metro U4 to Hütteldorf, cross the bridge, take the 53B bus to Innocentiagasse, then go straight up to Himmelhofgasse-Carolaweg, go up the curvy path and hussa, you will find one of the most beautiful meadows of the city! Translated it means heaven’s yard. It is a gorgeous circle shaped meadow, from where you can see the whole of Vienna and play the which-monument-do-I-see game. If you cannot find it call the Lomography office. Kathi or Daniel can help you.
location: close to himmelhofgasse (carolaweg), 1130 vienna | how to get there: metro u4 to huttteldorf, bus 53b to innocentiagasse
The TEN AND ONE Residency Week has been very intense and full of activities. From 11 to 18 November, we did LomoWalks around Vienna, guided visits to museums and magazine editorial office, a workshop, a trip to Bratislava, worked on our LomoWall and of course LomoLunch and LomoDinner. We had the opportunity to attend a Cyanotype Workshop at Lomography Head Quarter held by Michael Wuermer, a young and nice photographer and printer.

A conversation worth having is the current standing of women photographers in the profession and arts. For this year's International Women's Day, we try to narrow down some prevailing issues unique to women in photography.
The beauty of language is the variance of meanings that are exclusive to a culture. Some things, feelings, and circumstances hold more weight and nuance. Today, we're taking a peek at pretoogjes inspired portraits.
For the wandering Lomographer, we've got some alternative locations and destinations you might want to check out for picture-perfect travelogues. If you're dreaming of being in the French movies, you'd definitely want to visit Square Louise Michel.
I have come back after a week of my TEN AND ONE Artistic Residency at Lomography HQ in Vienna with my head full of ideas and projects that I would like to start and try out. By the end of the week I have a book (almost) full of tips, anecdotes and pure Lomographic love.
We officially launched Snapshots of a Happy Childhood Exhibition on September 5 but don't worry, you can still visit us at the remaining legs of the exhibition at S Maison at Conrad Hotel from September 10 to 16 and at SM Aura Premier from September 17 to 24.
