Lowenbruecke

If you’re an architecture nut or just love nature, a visit to Lowenbruecke is in order!

If you like the outskirts, and if you like big cities, this is the place to be. Beautiful architecture by Herr Otto Wagner (he conceived the beautiful Jugendstil Sperrwerk building, beside the bridge) and the cosy feeling of being in the city yet being in nature will make you feel welcome. Here is where the Danube River branches off and here you can sit and watch the water and ships pass by.

location: Lowenbruecke , nussdorf, 1190 vienna |
how to get there: go there by bike (great for checking out the graffiti on the way) or tramway d to nussdorfer platz. better bring a citymap!
