Why Lubitel?

If you already know me, and have checked my LomoHome, you will definitely notice that one of my favorite cameras to use is the Lubitel 166B. I did a review about it and you can read it here. I just simply love how sharp that simple camera can get. Not too light, not too heavy, easy to use and bring, it’s a camera that I can definitely use all day without worrying about what would come out with the photos.

And why Fuji Provia 100F?

Fuji Provia 100F is a slide film that when cross processed, it comes out more on the green side. The blue skies are sometimes green, the grays becomes green, even skin tones will turn out green! So it was a really dreamy film, and I love dreamy photos. But what made this film special for me is that it highlights the color red. And I love reds, so in short, If I use a fuji Provia 100F, without too much effort I can really emphasize a red subject just like in the photo below.

Nothing will make my further explanation better than showing you the cool photos I produced with it.

In fact, I have 7 photos shot with that combination of film and camera that has got selected and is in my most popular photos section. Lucky for me, that I still have a few more rolls of it in my stock, and that the said film is still in production. So you people can expect a few more masterpieces with this combination i call a “perfect match!”
