Valentine`s Day is just around the corner and you still haven`t got that special something for your sweetheart?
Why not follow this really easy recipe and bake some delicous cookies for your love !?
1cup butter , softened
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons orange juice
1 tablespoon vanilla sugar
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
5 tablespoons powdered sugar
1-2 teaspoons lemon juice
Combine butter , sugar and egg in large bowl. Beat at medium speed until creamy. Add orange juice and vanilla, continue beating. Add flour, beat at low speed until well mixed.
Divide dough into thirds.
Roll out dough on lightly floured surface to 1/8 to 1/4 inch thickness. Cut with cookie cutters and place onto cookie sheet.
Heat oven to 400°F / 180 °C.
Bake 10 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
Combine powdered sugar and lemon juice. Don`t add too much juice! What you want is a thick spreading consistency.
Frost and DECORATE ( !! ) cookies as desired!
