A rehashed industrial complex is now Vienna’s big piece of architectural landmark!

The Gasometer in Vienna is situated in Wien/Simmering and once accommodated big gas tanks. They were revitalized and the empty gas tanks came to life. They now house apartments, shops, dormitories, restaurants and offices and you can even find a cinema. Today the Gasometer is one of the city’s landmarks and a big piece of architecture! There are four Gasometers which are designed by architects like Jean Nouvel, Coop Himmelb(l)au, Manfred Wehdorn and Wilhelm Holzbauer.
