We, Lomography Hong Kong, invited seven directors from different creative backgrounds to participate in our Lomokino Festival 2013! On the night of the premiere screening we were blown away by their impressive works! I’m sure you wouldn’t want to miss the chance of watching them again, right?
In Aftertaste Of The Lomokino Festival! Part one we watched the works of our Community members as well as some experimental LomoKino clips done by various directors. This time round we’ll watch movies with a more pronounced storyline!
Dear Melissa, My First Love
Director: Students from Hong Kong Baptist University - Academy Of Flim
Do you remember most of the dreams you’ve dreamt? You may forget the fine details of them one day but those dreams that manifest themselves in reality never fade away.
Does “Dear Melissa, My First Love” remind you of your first love? When people are in love they are often more sensitive to the days-of-year as they don’t want to miss their anniversary! What does 21st Dec, 2012 mean to you?
End Of The World
Director: No.6 @ RubberBand
To most of us, 21st Dec 2012 is and will remain a special date as it was said to be the end of the world. So, let’s watch what No.6 did on this day that marked the so-called end of the world!
Seeing No.6 having fun with his friends on the rooftop make me think of the good times spent with friends. In a fast-paced city like Hong Kong, you may not be able to spend as much time with the people you love. Be careful not to fall distant one day.
If you engage in a self-examination of your own interpersonal relationships when watching “Shit Happenings” you may want to stay closer with the people around you. However, what if the person you care about exists in your dream?
Director: Heison Ng (STAR24)
Experiencing the epitome of romance, France, as well as the prettiness of her face… is it all just a dream? If the answer is yes, maybe I would rather just stay there forever.
After taking a look of all the above movies do you want to get your hands on a LomoKino and be a director? It doesn’t matter if you shoot a movie with or without a storyline, we know you’ll experience the infinite possibilites that Analogue provides like we all do!
