Sankt Marx Cemetery

For vintage art deco and sculptures albeit a bit morbid, a visit to Sankt Marx Cemetery is in order.

The Sankt Marx cemetery (Sankt Marxer Friedhof) was opened in 1784 and is one of Vienna’s most beautiful places to shoot some morbid statues of angels or crosses. The bones of some really famous people are buried there, including Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. If you have a fetish for romantic walks between decayed gravestones then this is the place to be. And don’t forget the garlic when you are planning to go there at sunset!!!
