Fritz the Blitz have a different shape and mechanism so it needs an adapter to use it for other cameras beside the La Sardina.
The Fritz the Blitz itself has three distance settings for maximum control over your flash (choose between 1.6m/1.2m and 0.6m distances). It comes with four color filters for fun experimentation.
