What’s better than scoring a perfect 800 on a section of the SATs? Scoring a pack of Lomography Color Negative 800 120 and shooting it, of course! For pictures more perfect than any SAT score, shoot this amazing and versatile Color Negative film!
I am being completely honest when I say this is as good as it gets with Color Negative films. Lomography Color Negative 800 120 is most definitely one my favorite Lomography films! It’s one of the first rolls I shot with my Lubitel 166+ over 2 years ago and the results that wowed be back then have kept wowing me now. I’ve since shot this glorious film with my precious, the Diana F+, and most recently with my Belair X 6-12 . The results have been very consistent and, as always, magical!
I very briefly went over this film when I reviewed the Mixed Film Pack 120 but there is just so much more to say! For one, this film just adores soaking up light! The photos above are all shot at dusk and still, the results are very pleasing! The colors are always vivid without sacrificing their natural tonality!
Also, as far as high-speed film goes, Lomography CN 800 120 has AMAZING grain!! I don’t know if it’s advanced emulsion technology or all the Lomo Love that goes into making this film, but there is nary a grain! This has made it EXCELLENT for all those portraits I love to take of my friends!
So, you forgot your flash and the natural light is fading fast? Fear not, because this film does wonders with long exposures, both indoor and outdoor!!
So whatever situation you end up in, no matter what camera, rest assured that Lomography Color Negative 800 120 is there to help save your day (or night)! Amazing color reproduction, virtually no visible grain, superb exposure latitude, this film has it all!!
If you don’t want to take my word for it, here’s another testimonial:
