24 hours Slide Rumble Rodeo

Just as the Sideshow represents the dark and mysterious nature of the circus, it’s the Slide that gives our pictures a twisted and unpredictable touch.

Just as the Sideshow represents the dark and mysterious nature of the circus, it’s the Slide that gives our pictures a twisted and unpredictable touch.

So for this 24h Rumble Rodeo we are moving into dark waters.

It’s the magic of the Vaudeville, the humour of the grotesque, the mystery of the occult, the freaks, the crystal ball gazers and the masqueraders that we are looking for.

So step right up folks, the show has just begun!

  • Winner: 30 piggies
  • Runners-Up: 10 piggies

The results will be announced 24 hours from now!

Ha ha - for the colour negative rumble I had a few shots I really wanted to use but they were x-pro. Now for this one I have the most perfectly suited shot I've ever had for a mission/rumble and it's colour negative! It even looks like x-pro just to tease me! Darn...
    Loving these rumbles though :oD

Khalik Allah: A Halo in the Darkness of Night

He calls himself Khalik Allah – a creator, a limitless, timeless, infinite being. He documents life as it comes and goes, as it hurts, as it glows inside the protagonists of his stories. His photography and videography take us deep into the never-ending nights of Harlem, a place where the darkness might seem to reach its peak. Yet, he is capturing light in its purest form, reminding us that it lies in everyone’s eyes, within everyone’s self.

The Art of Picture Taking: An Interview with Filmmaker Catherine Dauphin

We spoke with Luxembourg-based filmmaker Catherine Dauphin about her thoughts on this wonderful art form. Join us as she answers some of our questions about film, photography, and her short film titled "The Art of Picture Taking."

The Photography of Réka Koti: Lo-Fi Blurs and Foggy Moods

Photo travelogues are often sprightly, the forms defined and the colors sharp. Réka Koti has a completely different interpretation. A location is a basis for experiments. Nature is a double-exposure detail or a nebular extension of her model’s frock. Branches and leaves are blurred to look like paint strokes. The outcome is mysterious, and Lomography can’t help asking: What is the alchemy behind these dusky pictures?
