Iligan is a quiet city. But everybody rocks on a Friday Night in Iliganon. It is an ideal place where everybody can have fun and be sheltered from the stress of the life. In here you can find solitude in a coffee shop that serves the best beef rendang in Iligan. Its more quiet, and the air is cool. Conversations are mostly done in this place. The owner chatted with us. And told us of the challenges and joys of a Non-Muslim Woman being married to a Muslim man. It talks of breaking stereotypes and telling the whole world how love can conquer all!
If you are the rocker and dancer type, you can check out the outdoor bar, where the latest music is played and you can dance and heckle as loud as you want. Good times, young Iliganons version. And if you are the serious type, who wants to play poker with the boys, and some girls. The poker room is for you.
We ended the night being toured around the gimmick place. Now I know where to go to when caught up in Iligan again.
