Resolutions, resolutions, resolutions. Take it as a warning sign to keep us going for all the things we want or take it as a reminder to remember us all the things we wished before. Well, I don’t know but this year’s analogue resolutions will be simple. Simple? It’s fair to say that so here’s my own analogue resolutions for 2013!
1. To use all my Multi-Lens Cameras
I must admit that on 2012 I rarely use multi-lens cameras such as Pop 9, ActionSampler Flash or my girlfriend’s SuperSampler. My Oktomat is broken but I’m planning to get a new one this year. Multi-lens cameras is so fun to use and now I missed using it! So this year I will use them and maybe do some wicked experiment with them too!
2. To take (serious) portraits
I realized that all this time I took many spontaneous portraits of people around me or strangers I’ve met on my travelling. Considering that fact is growing in my head, I expect this year to take more serious portraits. Will shoot my family members or my girl, I still don’t know how to execute it but it’s already on my head. Fingers crossed!
3. To take more and more photos of my parents
Aside from the resolution above, I’m really serious with taking more and more photos of my parents. It doesn’t have to be serious or full of concept portraits but I just want to take a shoot of them, just the way they are. I love my parents so much!
4. To use Holga
Last year, I never used my Holga, it’s kind of sad. I abandoned this wonderful camera for a year! But this year there will be a change as my taste and hunger for 120 film is increasing. So Holga, don’t worry! I will come back to you!
5. To graduate!
The last but not the least of my resolutions is to graduate! Graduating and getting my master’s degree is really something that I want to achieve this year so wish me luck everybody!
So there you have it, my analogue resolutions. What about yours?
