This was the very first workshop of the Lomography Embassy Santiago with Diana F+ out of town. The chosen city… Valparaiso: a UNESCO “world heritage site”.
The “Jewel of the Pacific” was the chosen spot for our new Diana F+ workshop on 31st of October. We started with some theory at “Cámara Lucida” and then walked our way through this labyrinth seaport city for the practical part. We walked its narrow stairs, cobblestone alleyways and unique architecture shooting from the hip to learn the Diana F+ basics! It was a great time with our “porteños” friends, that had its eating time at the classic “Cinzano” before we took the “funicular” to go up and back to our starting point.

Isabella Craun is a 13-year old photographer, who was part of the Diana Project held by our friends from Brannigan and Follen Photo Haus in Cleveland. She came by our Gallery Store to chat about her first impressions on film photography with the Diana F+.
Lomography Team member Sarah Knoll shoots her Diana F+ regularly in low light situations. But when she got her hands on our prototype of the Diana Instant Square she took it out into the sunny streets of New York City and created a series of wonderful summer portraits.
From its charming design to the dreamy photographs it takes, it's hard not to be smitten with the Diana F+. On its 10th year celebration, Lomographers and longtime fans of Lomography's reigning retro queen remember how their first meeting with this lovely camera evolved to an everlasting love.
This month Lomography Soho are hosting an evening workshop at The Museum of London as part of their London Nights series. You'll also get the chance to discover the Queer History of Carnaby Street whilst learning all about the classic Diana F+ camera. Places are limited so book your spot today!
Having added more than 2000 stunning photos in a few years to his Lomohome, and always curious to try out new cameras, @frenchyfyl 's approach to photography definitely convinced us to share the very first Diana Instant Square with him. Enjoy his fantastic results!
Join us at the Soho Store this month for our February workshops and events. There will be a rainbow themed Diana F+ workshop, a screening of We Have Rather Been Invaded by Ed Webb-Ingall and a new exhibition by photographers Geoff Brokate & Kaye Martindale.
LomoAmigo B.A. Van Sise hates paperwork and goes out of his way to avoid it. That's how he came up with a very special concept for the series he shot with the Diana Instant Square for us. He calls it, ironically, "Paper + Work".
