This was the very first workshop of the Lomography Embassy Santiago with Diana F+ out of town. The chosen city… Valparaiso: a UNESCO “world heritage site”.
The “Jewel of the Pacific” was the chosen spot for our new Diana F+ workshop on 31st of October. We started with some theory at “Cámara Lucida” and then walked our way through this labyrinth seaport city for the practical part. We walked its narrow stairs, cobblestone alleyways and unique architecture shooting from the hip to learn the Diana F+ basics! It was a great time with our “porteños” friends, that had its eating time at the classic “Cinzano” before we took the “funicular” to go up and back to our starting point.

Growing up in a small town in the middle of California, Kayla Varley knew she wanted to see more of the world, and explore it through her photography. Ever since she was a child, photography was a creative escape to a whole different world. A world where moments are being captured forever.
Vickey Ford grew up with a variety of crooners and musicians influencing her through the radio or from the streets. From the time she was born to this very day, her house has never run out of songs to play.

Last summer we were lucky to visit 4 cities in 3 different countries, just within a few days. This was reason enough to give my very first LomoChrome Turquoise a try. Afterwards I was astonished by the absolutely unexpected colors of the shots.

By far the oddest-looking camera I own, the Electric Eye is an auto-exposure viewfinder camera made by Bell & Howell in the late 1950s. I picked one up online and ended up with another one, that came with a very cool, retro looking carrying case, from my grandfather. It took a little while to try these two out but after running some film I found that this camera is a lot of fun to shoot with.
Photographer AM Renault is a core member of Yamanaka Yuko and Six Dimen Boy. He is deeply in love with nature, a thing he always intertwines with photography and design. This time, Lomography is honored to have AM Renault shoot with the New Jupiter 3+ Art Lens. What's more, one of his photos has been chosen as the cover of the product package.
