Tell us about yourself. What do you do for a living? What are your interests?
Well, I’m only a woman in the world, a woman with a child spirit who dances for living (or living for dancing!) I’m bellydancer and I love it. My interests are dance, photography, cats, music… all about culture!
How long have you been a Lomographer and how did you find out about the Community?
I’ve been a Lomographer for five years. I knew the Community through the internet.
What are your plans for the holidays?
My plans for the holidays are dancing, dancing, and dancing! Plus going to Madrid for “The Immortal: A Tribute to Michael Jackson with the Cirque du Soleil” and well, RELAX!
Any New Year’s resolutions for 2013?
I never make resolutions for New Year. Only that I try to be a better person and try to enjoy the life with my family and friends every year.
If you could recommend one movie and one song to everyone, what would they be?
I recommend my favourite movie: Kill Bill by Quentin Tarantino. Love it! Good actors, good scenes, very good music and fun.
One song? Smooth Criminal! AWWWWWWWW!
What’s your favourite analogue camera to shoot with? Why?
For all: LC-Wide, because it’s good for all situations!
For portraits: Yashica 635 or any TLR camera. I love the medium format for portraits.
What’s the next camera you’d like to get your hands on?
Mmmmmm… A Hasselblad? A Rollei TLR? A Mamiya? Dreams can come true!
What’s your favourite memory from this year?
My favourite memory from this year was been being selected from a casting for dancing with a great belly dance company in Mexico! For me, this has been a dream!
And now for the toughest question – What’s been your favorite photo from the past year? Why?
Why? A good film, good conditions, good model, and a big satisfaction.
Any holiday shout-outs or tips for your fellow Lomographers?
Enjoy, relax, and make a lot of pictures for remembering the holidays!!!
