I love shopping, especially for gifts. Which is why I’m pretty excited to share one of my favourite shopping location in Leeds here with you today.
I’ve lived in Leeds for nearly 5 years now, and one of the first buildings that I distinctly remember was the Leeds Corn Exchange — it was actually the first place where I first saw a Lomography camera (a Fisheye camera, if you’re wondering).
Although the Corn Exchange wouldn’t be considered as quirky now as it was 5 years ago, I still think it’s a great location for shopping, with lovely boutiques, vintage clothes, unique jewellery, and also great food with hotdogs, cupcakes and US snacks.
If you’re really lucky, there may even bea fair being held in the Corn Exchange, and this is when the building comes alive: when it’s busy and you can hear the hustle and bustle of the crowd echoing beautifully around the glorious ceiling.
