Last week, we set out to experiment with our La Sardina cameras and sparklers. Long exposures and hilarious interactions with strangers made for a great night!
Last week, Matthew took to the street with six avid Lomographers equipped with La Sardinas, 50 sparklers, 1 laser pointer and no inhibitions. Walking around Queen and Bathurst, the group tried their hand at light painting and multiple exposures. An ongoing series titled “Strangers with sparklers” was also forged on this eventful evening so be sure to stay tuned for the release of those photographs!

Last year Lomography UK sent out some Lomo’instant Wide cameras to be tested out by our most prolific community members and instant photography fanatics. We take a look back at the highlights and remind ourselves of how versatile this instant beauty is!

As the year comes to a close, Lomography Soho looks back on the top 5 highlights of 2016. We ran an LC-A+ workshop with Blurb who printed up all the shots from this workshop and made a groovy book. It's our Number 3 UK event of 2016.
Bea Dewhurst is our newest member of the Lomography UK team and we have been testing out her photography skills with a variety of cameras and lenses. We lent her the Lomo'instant Automat and a selection of film which accompanied her on a few nights out in London.
We gave Nilipek., who won a spot in our hearts with her incredibly cute tone of voice, joyous melodies with her ukulele and a naturally friendly style a clean and pure La Sardina DIY for her to design and take photos with. She became our LomoAmigo and agreed to a little chat with us.
Earlier this year we were chuffed to launch a very memorable type of 35mm film: the Lomography Color Negative F²/400. We had recovered it from the last ever supply of an Italian filmmaker, and stocked it for seven years in special conditions. Much sought after for the film's nostalgic aesthetic, beautiful blue tones, with hints of X-Pro character, the F²/400 35mm rolls flew off our shelves like hotcakes – and rapidly went out of stock worldwide.
The existence of light grants us to see the whole spectrum of the prism. As we walk our way across the rainbow, we study, ruse and add meanings to the colors. For this week, we have the color that never goes out of style.
Like the contemporary auteur, they've been through other influences to make the style of their own. Christopher Nolan has his own distinction, but even you can make it with some practice and minding of the details.
The 21st-century metropolis still poses discomfort and offenses against women, mostly through harassment. In this photographic interview, UK-based photographer Eliza Hatch speaks about the prevailing issue not through words, but with portraits shot in analogue.
Come From Away is the true story of 38 planes stranding 7000 passengers in remote Canada, on September 11, 2001. One character dares to "Stop the World, Take a Photo" amid the chaos. In honor of World Photography Day, we invite you to do the same for the chance to see the masterpiece musical in NYC!
