Not all of us are lucky, but once it strikes someone, it knows how to strike good!
Just like this by-accident LomoKino filmmaker who snagged his glorious analogue moviemaker through a Lomography contest he participated in. Sure is lucky and is meant to be! Ask why? For he has produced amazing analogue movies with his LomoKino!

Tell us about yourself. What do you do for a living? What are your interests?
Hello, my name is Simone, I an 24 years old and I am studying architecture in Rome (Italy.) I have a great passion for photography and I hope one day it becomes my job. For four years I have discovered this beautiful world that is Lomography and I can not do less than to take pictures with toy cameras.
Describe the LomoKino in five words.
As soon as I saw the LomoKino I thought: Wow, it’s brilliant!
How did you like shooting with the LomoKino?
In general I try to imagine the story, think about the location, the scenes … but in the end I let the situation and the characters do everything, I simply turn and represent what I see.
What or who has inspired you to purchase and use the LomoKino?
In truth, I was very tempted to buy the LomoKino, I like the time lapse and stop motion (effects in) video and this machine is very easy to do it. Then one day I participated in my first Lomography competition, which was organized by Lomography Italy and from there I won the LomoKino!
Any funny or strange encounters you’ve had with it?
In truth, none yet.
If you could shoot any person alive or dead (or imaginary) with your LomoKino, who would it be and why?
I would like to capture a lot of characters .. such as Charlie Chaplin! I would film him as he was a comedian!
Kindly share to us any LomoKino movie you love the most.
My First Film to LomoKino
My cats and dogs;
Any future plans with your LomoKino? More shoots or a full-length film perhaps?
Mmmm maybe too much for the head … but still too little time to realize. Most of the movies are in stop-motion. Continue to follow me to find out more! ;)
Your advice to future LomoKino users.
Always follow the 10 Golden Rules of Lomography, especially “Do not think, you do not have to know beforehand what you captured on film.”
